ROM Hack Backing up sdcard

Hi everyone

I have been thinking about making a backup of my 400 GB sd it is in ex fat and i have read that it can be corrupted. Can i just copy All the files on the sd and move it back. I know xci files it can be done but i am thinking of nsp files that has been installed to the sd will they be corruted. It is because i have a few eshop games i have bought and i dont want to go online and redownload them if my sd gets corrupted.

As long as they are being used by the same console, you can copy the contents from one SD to another and they will work identically.
