Hacking Backing up saved DS games

is there a way to do it?
any software/homebrew out there that would be able to transfer my saves from the original cart into my flash cart?

do i just copy and run REIN.nds?
what does the zipped file rein_c.lzh do? is it needed?

i'm using EZ4 Lite micro..and everytime i boot rein.nds it just freezes.

That contains the 'source' so no, you won't need it for the purpose you intend to use it for.

ez4 requires homebrew to be in the *.ds.gba format.... so u either need a convertor or the creator of rein to come up with this format.

hmm..doesn't seem to be working. so there's no program out there other than rein that will work with EZ4?

Rein doesn't work with ez4 yet, the author has to add the ez4 driver library to the it first...

Any updates on this? I have an EZ4 + DS Lite and I can't back them up. I tried ETool but I can't get the roms to read the saved data.

I tried etool on EZ4 to backup Brain Age. You have to upload it using the EZ client so that it will make the .sav file. Then open the etool and backup the file. Restart your DS so that they will transfer the save to EZ4. Then just upload the etool sav file to the PC and extract the save using the PC tool included. Done. Played Brain age flawlessly using my old save.

How do I send games to the DS cart using REIN? I backed up my Mario Kart save then I edited it but now I want to put it back on. What do I do? How do I read the Jap writing?

I don't understand why you need to read japanese, the menu is in english.
Goto Restore and select the .SAV file.

G6 does not need Rein. As it has it's own save transfer feature inside the program.

I am unable to get it working on my supercard mini-sd? What files do I copy? I have tried rein.nds but it just goes to a black screen? Do I convert it? I tried that and it never stops loading?

I tried a supercard version but it did the same thing... just loading forever... the numbers count on forever... Anyone have a link to a working supercard mini-sd version please? Newest if possbile.
