Hacking Backing up game updates (as CIA)

Is there a tutorial on ripping game updates from your 3DS? Couldn't find anything :/ (N3DS running A9LH)

IIRC there is some very WIP software that dumps games to .cia, idk about updates tho.

That is Decrypt9WIP, but it dumps only cartridge and convert it to CIA.

As for the OP question, i think there is no method to directly extract a CIA from something installed. The only way is to download them using CIAngel, for example
