So I have my 3ds xls(1 o3ds & 1 n3ds) + 2ds on b9s 1.2 & luma 8.1 11.4 as not updated to 11.5 yet(only updated to 11.4 in the last few weeks), what is the best way to back up my game carts to sd(I have a 32gb)? Should I dump the carts(I dumped a few with hourglass back when I originally modded my consoles(back in February) or use freeshop?
I have 30 or so games in total, dozen of which are digital eshop games. Will a 32gb card be big enough?

32GB should be big enough (if you have more than 2GB for most games)
I suggest just using GodMode9 to backup your games
Guide to using GodMode9

Thanks for the reply, I did read that when I updated to b9s(someone linked it when I asked about backing up the NAND). Is it just me or does it sound more complicated than it was on hourglass?

It does require a few more steps, but I am more advocating GodMode9 by the request of the Dev. d0k3 has been trying to phase out Decrypt9/Hourglass9 for months now and the community hasn't been making it easy for him to do so. So I am trying to help push the community away from them and in favor of GodMode9
So you can use hourglass9 if it suits your fancy, I am just trying to help out d0k3

Ok, I'll give it a try. Can always grab the .firm of hourglass9 if I have any trouble with godmode9

Personal preference. I've never been a big fan of the eShop layout and I've never trusted updates from them since they remove pirated themes.

The freeshop update for happy home designer seems to have worked, got it installed on my nieces n3ds(got b9s 1.2 luma 8.1 on it, currently on 11.4 so can't use the sleep mode d/l on freeshop). I played it for a few hours when I got it(was curios plus got the NFC reader bundle as I didn't have a n3ds at the time), my 10yr old niece should enjoy it(I hope).
