Hacking Back Launcher advice or tutorial?

Hi Guys,
I've been reading for a couple of days now but I'm still not sure what I need installed.

I have used the twilight hack to install the homebrew channel and the new backup launcher.
So far so good.

Now when I click the homebrew channel the I get a new list saying
DVDX installer
WAD Manager
Wii Backup Launcher

I put these 3 folders in the apps directory

Were I am confused is:
DVDX does this need installing if so how
CIOS5 or 6 do I need this,
I have a copy of CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad
Do I need to put this somewhere or do I need to install it, would WAD manager install it?


My goal is to backup one of my originals via the wii to the pc and burn it and then play it.

1. install the cios through the wad manager
2. go to the dvdx installer, choose advanced install, and then ios 249
3. go to the backup launcher
4. Have fun

Managed to get much further now.
dvdx installer did not have ios249 as an option only ios35.
I used custom ios installer to install ios249 which seemed to work

When you choose which ios to install to you press right on the wiimote pad twice and it should be there. But it looks like you got it working without it. Well, enjoy your iso(s)
