Hacking b9s freeshop games updates don't work

Hi there,

One of my kids' N3ds is running b9s (sys 1..6.0-39E) and a couple of games installed from freeshop show a scrolling text that they need updating by connecting to the internet.
The console can connect for sure (I tried re-installing these 2 games) though after pressing 'y' to update the game and selecting the first option to initiate the download we get a 005-5602 error code.

Any idea what could be wrong. Could it be linked to a ticket or something (this is not something I am familiar with as you can see)? Should I download the updates from somewhere else (like a cia file)?

If the game is out of your region you will always get an error like that, so see if you can update in freeshop. Otherwise you will need to find an update cia for your game's version

Thanks to you I just discovered games updates were available from Freeshop. I have told the kids, they are now self-sufficient on this. Very nice indeed.
