Gaming Avalon Code help

Well i'm on chapter 2 where u have to go to the cave in the forest. I know that you need a forest code to hit that switch except i can't find any around the area and i scanned every monster plus flowers. Help please?

Put a forest code on your weapon then hit it.

Did you check the monsters and flowers you already "scanned"?

yea they all only had pointless ones like "hope", "fish", "iron"

can someone help me with the desert ruin part, where you have to cut the ropes i put the ice on my weapon but i don't how to cut the rope

there is still no walkthrough , for the forest code i think meenya had some , still if you scanned all ppl in the town and all flowers and monsters you would have more forest codes , so better check it properly

there's 1 walkthrough on gamefaq right now. I can't go back to town because the guards are in the way saying "hmm? have i seen your face b4?" when i approach them. Then my character turns back.

you were supposed to get a grass code a while ago already.
and yes, almost everything has codes on them, characters, monsters, etc.
flowers need to be identified by a npc before it gets a code and meaning.

so does that mean i'm screwed? xD i can't go back into town to identify the flowers and none of the monsters i find have the firest code

wait i could go to the town by using the entrance in the ruins and getting out in the graveyard , just take the route you used to escape from the prison cell

BTW the walktrough is so lacking that even i know more , i want to do it all on 100% so im in the 5th chapter with 35 hours of playing , so you can ask me for help up until chapter 5
