The flashcarts loss would suck, but anyone that gets in the way of me being able to download anime fan subs is looking for a fight.
Privacy laws would need to be changed though in order for anyone to 'see' what I am downloading.
UBB is an awful idea, yeah... but ultimately, I'm less worried about that. I'm not sure Bell realizes how unpopular it is, and how much moreso it would become, if (or when) they implement it. Sympatico isn't the only ISP in Canada, though, and if they stop offering a service people want, other companies will offer it. I've already made it quite clear to Bell (after the recent CRTC ruling) that I'll cancel my service with them immediately upon being transferred to a UBB system.
