The real question is... how the hell do you change your legions colour!? Might be to early in the game. >,>

It's kind of weird just how much is locked down completely with so many customization options seemingly presented yet not really available. Maybe as you go you get more and more, but I'm already quite a decent number of hours in and only have a couple of caps and some glasses with no colors, costumes, etc etc. And then I see stuff like the only voice that's listed as unlockable is "J" (which seems to imply there would be other voices between J and the default -- presumably A. But maybe not if J stands for something.) What I'd really like to see is a cheat that unlocks everything. I'm starting to wonder if most of the unlocks don't even come until you're just about to beat the game, which would just suck. I hope they aren't actually planning to put it all behind DLC paywalls. There are quite a few empty spots in the customization menus and only a handful of things in the objectives that would unlock any of this.

Perhaps a save editor is a better way to implement unlocks though. I hope someone is looking into one because this is definitely a game deserving of a save editor.

I did NOT know that a large portion of the colour schemes are unlocked via completion of in game challenges smh, could have had decked out legions from the get go.

I don't think ReiNX has the cheat engine implemented yet. It probably will soon enough -- it's largely based on Atmosphere so it's a matter of the code changes being integrated -- but as far as I know it isn't yet. Once it does integrate it (or if it already has) the process will be exactly the same as Atmosphere except you would use /reinx/titles instead of /atmosphere/titles. EDIT: Woops. It seems 2.4 does. You should basically just do the same thing then. Place the cheat .txt file exactly as you would with atmosphere, only in /reinx/titles instead of /atmosphere/titles. After you load the game, hit home and go to the homebrew launcher applet and run EdiZon and use the cheats menu. I don't know if there are settings for ReiNX to control whether cheats are all on by default or not. The default of full on kind of bothers me at least, so you might want to go in there and turn everything you don't want off if you feel the same way. Plus the 1.5x, 2x, and regular speed controls must surely conflict with each other. In atmosphere you can change the configuration to default to off and just manually turn on what you want, so you'll want to check to see if ReiNX has an equivalent setting somewhere.

I did NOT know that a large portion of the colour schemes are unlocked via completion of in game challenges smh, could have had decked out legions from the get go.
To be clear: I didn't actually say that. I'm saying I assume that this is the case. As of now I have not unlocked a single color change option of any sort. Actually, I see another distinct possibility: it could all be something locked by DLC. But you would expect that to be available on day one if so, so it's a very odd if that is the case. I had thought someone else might chime in to more specifics. By now people have to have played through at least near to the end, right? (I know most of us haven't had that kind of time or willingness to play it fairly continuously since its release, but I guarantee there's someone out there who has.)

Personally, what I want the most is customization of costume colors though.

After the cheats are applied -- are the changes permanent? For example, if I used "max exp" and level up -- then the next time I load the game normally, will I still have the changes?

Thanks!

They should. Leveled to Master rank using the Max EXP cheat after completing a mission. Max money and Genecodes also stick after a single use provided that you save of course.

Atmosphere is a "custom firmware."

I’ve got to learn how to put atmosphere on my switch. Glad this thread is here.
Extract its zip file to your memory card. Boot the .bin payload. Done.

Optionally you might want to set it to not enable all cheats by default. Edit /atmosphere/system_settings.ini in any text editor and change dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1 to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0 (just change the 1 to a 0.) I don't know why they set it to default to all on.

Put it in /atmosphere/titles/[title_id]/[build_number] (the build number lets it tell the difference between patches since they'll often have different addresses.) If you look in the main cheat thread someone has a RAR with the title ID and build ID already so all you have to do is just extract into titles and you're done. (They also have quite a few more cheats in there.)

Ok so i found the file in the other topic.

I added it to my atmosphere/title folder. So how do i actually use the cheats. They are not showing up on edizon. I inject the fusee primary and it shows atmosphere before going to the switch menu.

Are you looking in the game saves menu or the cheats menu? For cheats you start the game first, hit home, and then start EdiZon and go to the cheats menu (Y on the old version, but in the latest one you go down to the C icon.) The game must be running for the cheat system to work. If you've done that but it still doesn't show up it must be in the wrong folder or something. I can verify it does work because I've been using a couple of cheats (just the money and the speedup, but the 1.5x speedup is actually really nice IMO.) Oh, but the current cheats posted are for the game after that first patch. If you don't have the patch you have a different build number. (And if so I suggest updating the game because the patch probably fixes something.)

When i open edizon all i see is the saves on my switch. it has an option for editable titles and when i click that, i see only 5 games. mario kart, smash bros, xenoblade, mario odyssey and hollow knight.

if i click astral chain it says no config for this game was found, editing is disabled.
