Hacking Arm9Loaderhax and GW 3DS

Emunand is still relevant, as long as you own and/or want to use a Gateway. This is because you need a 9.0-9.2 firm for GW to exploit, but you still want a fully updated emunand for online services and eshop.

My AureiNand is set to autoboot sysnand with 9.0 firm (and holding L will boot to emunand, but I see no need without Gateway). I use hblauncher_loader to boot ctrbootmanager then GW.3dsx (or HBL then GW.3dsx).

That makes sense. You'd want your EmuNAND on 10.6 (or in general, latest supported by GW multirom menu) so the latest games/DLC work with .3ds files posing as retail carts running from your GW.
