Hello, I completed Pokemon Sun a while back but wanted to try something new with the game, so i turned to randomizing it.

The method i'm using to randomize it is the Luma3DS LayerdFS. I used PK3DS to edit my extracted CIA which was built from my gamecard using GM9
Here is what my file structure looks like -

My New Nintendo 3DSXL is on 11.5, and is a EU Console (Don't see how that would matter, though). It is using B9S 1.2 (the latest, i think?) and Luma 8.1.1, Game patching is turned on. with game patching turned off, the game works fine so its definitely an issue with my files or my 3DS, i just don't know. For all i know, i could completely be doing this wrong.

Here is the Arm11 Error

An exception occured
Processor: ARM11 (core 0)
Exception type: data abort
Current process: niji_loc (0004000000164800)

And then it displays a bunch of HEX Stuff i think.
i would upload the full Dump file, but GBATemp isn't letting me (Invalid extension)
Any help would be great.

I faced the same problem patching Rising Sun. What I did was uninstall the updates in the 3DS system storage and that got it working.

I uninstalled the updates for Pokemon Sun and it fixed the arm11 error as it no longer shows up. But however now the game just hangs on a black screen for ages. i left it for 5 Minutes thinking it was loading, but it never loaded. Any solutions?

The modified (only the modified) contents of the romfs should be in E:/SaltySD/SunMoon, not where you put them. E:/luma/titles/(title key) is where the code.ips patch should be.

Don't worry i fixed this ages ago. I had to manually get the folders and files (GARCS) which pk3ds edits and put them in the romfs. e.g. a/0/1/4
