Hello guys,
yesterday I deleted some .3dsx files that I had already installed via .cia. Everything was working fine at first. I opened 3DShell. The first crash happened when I went into -> _nds -> TWiLightMenu -> apfix. Then my 3DS crashed and it continued to crash everytime I tried to open 3DShell.

Similar problem with Universal-Editor (a text editor). Although I can open the folders without any problems my 3DS always crashes when I try to leave the text folder again, with or without saving the changes. Interestingly the changes are actually saved when I choose to (I checked afterwards) but the 3DS still crashes during the process.

After some time 3DShell started to work again. I tried again opening the "apfix" folder and again it crashed and can't be opened since without the 3DS crashing.

I reinstalled Twilight Menu, put the newest "boot.3dsx" file into the root folder of the SD card, reinstalled 3DShell and Universal-Editor and even tried to use them via the Homebrew Launcher Menu as .3dsx files. I'm still having the same crashes.

Note that I can open all folders via FBI and games do also work. It are just these two Homebrew Apps that crash (as of now at least, I haven't tried every game). I still want to find the root of this problem. Would be very thankful for help!

Hi, I don't use Universal-Editor but I'm having a similar issue with 3DSHell. It consistently crashes on startup. The only notable thing recently I've done is install Pokemon Bank com the eShop. I got rid of it and still the same issue.

In SD:/3ds/3dshell there should be a file named config.json, iirc deleting that should fix the crashing

hi i am having the exact same issue but with majoras mask 3ds and tomodachi life :0 do you know if this can be fixed like at all?? another thing it doesn't give me the folders number at all but just a lot of 0's O_O i don't know why..

Without context or even screenshots I won't be able to effectively assist you, but I'd like to point out that if what you're playing on your presumably hacked console doesn't match the region of said console and you're not using luma locale switcher you're gonna encounter issues, though in the case of the two games you mentioned the only solution would be playing stuff that's the same region as your system

Yeah sorry about that x.x. I found out the problem :0 also I have a Japanese 2ds, I already changed the language for it could read my English games, so I am fine now - I had to figure it out and my friend confirmed it that I did need to re-download the game in a different..place. but yeah thank you.
