Seriously. I wish all of this piracy would just stop, to be honest. Then, maybe, I would be allowed to run a media player on my Wii AND support indie developers on Wiiware.

Cause it's not like other consoles can't do that.

Oh wait, 360 and PS3 can, and to top it off pirating on both of those consoles is MUCH MUCH more hard than it is on the Wii.

Nintendo just fails at it even if they do develop/publish my favorite games.

Already paid for! To me it seems like what metroid prime should have been. Not that im saying the game is bad (one of my favs actually). It seems like the most obvious step from the 2d metroid games into 3d rather then first person. but i still why people would be worried. the story and va probably wont be amazing. luckily for me even the simplest stories in my favorite series makes me happy. im easily pleased like that. and the controls will most definitely will take some time to get use to. but ive no doubt the camera angles will be perfect for the dpad control...well close to. and as for team ninja taking the game in the wrong direction? thats bullshit. Nintendo and metroids creator still have say over everything going on. best believe every design choice was from him and team ninja simply made it and put some input in every now and then.

I'm pirating as usual. Pirated SMG2 and don't plan on buying it. I probably won't buy another Wii game unless by some miracle there's NMH3. NMH2 was the only game I bought since I began pirating for the system. It'll probably be the last Wii game I buy as well.

Probably not. I have played all Metroid games in the past and love them. This one just doesn't excite me in any way.

Yep, I've had it sitting on pre-order since March!! I'm getting it for under $30 also and it will come with another $20 off for a future game which I may put on the new Donkey Kong Country.

Yeah... you don't need to advertise the 360 and the ps3 on a thread about a metroid game.

Ontopic: I don't know, still thinking about it. It seems decent but its going to be a hassle to change from 3rd person then click a button to go to side scrolling and then click another button to just scan stuff... At least scanning stuff will still be the same as Prime. Also did you guys realize that you can actually see Samus' face now? IN EVERY SCENE! I think they overused it now unless you get to play as Zero-Suit Samus.

i'm gonna buy it, but i don't know if i'll play it through. the cutscene footage i've seen already annoys the shit out of me. if i have to sit trhough a lot of those than i'm just gonna move to something else.

I think I'll be 'evaluating' this one first........ I was brought up on the first games, and will agree with most that while the Primes are good, they're just not... the same.... but I'm gonna be honest here and say NOTHING I've seen of it makes me think it'll be a good un..... I hope to be proven wrong though, and (like other games I've evaluated) if it's good enough I'll have no probs shelling out for a retail copy, but I'm often right lol..... only time will tell on this one!

For the record the XBLA library beats the WiiWare library any day. And the Xbox 360 has more measures to prevent hacking and piracy than the Wii.

Also, what's wrong with seeing Samus' face? How is this "overused"? Off the back they presented this as much more of a cinematic game than any other Metroid. And with any cinematic game you'll see her face. And what's wrong with seeing it anyway? I don't see your complaint here.
