I don't usually ask questions.

So I was helping a friend out with a9lh.
All went well.
The problem is that, while reinstalling the tickets, we made the stupid error of accepting installing tickets from CDN.
Now my question is: since all softwares just got deleted, are the saves alright or nah?

Thanks.

I don't think you'll be able to salvage the saves without a Nand backup from before this happened
Although you might be able to with something that comes thanks to the bootrom, since pretty sure things like JKSV have to let the system decrypt the folders games/saves are stored in (Decrypting with bootrom.. dunno if that'll be a thing)

I do have a NAND backup.

Pretty sure saves are stored on the SD card the OP just wrote over by installing the CIAs.
Sorry, OP, I don't think you can get those saves back.

Saves are stored on the SD.. All of the software got deleted though, and I'm pretty sure installing the titles again won't make the saves usable again
I could be wrong, but something similar like this happened to me before. Not even my old Nand backup saved me from the deleted titles (Although I really only lost a few hours of Fantasy Life)

Saves are stored on the SD card and you should be able to restore everything if you backed up the Nintendo 3DS folder before hand.
Save files in /Nintendo3DS/Key/Key/[Insert game info here] aren't encrypted to match the keys?
Just thinking about how PKHeX would be theoretically possible on digital copies w/o if so.. it's a fun thought

I have no idea and I really hope someone informs me.
Regardless, after my system transfer, I tried to do a ticket re-install. I also accidentally used the CDN, which of course caused the same error here.
So I restored my SD from my PC and re-installed the tickets the right way. From there all of my saves were still working, even my homebrew tickets were restores. Some update patches seemed broken, but were easy to replace.
