Hi,
Hi have a sky3ds and I want to buy a private header in order to play online. But before doing any moves, I wanted to know if headers are zone related. example : My 3DS is EUR, can I buy an USA, JAP,... header ?

Another question (even if I alreday know the answer...) : Is this really impossible to extract an header from a retail card with a 9.7 console ?

Thanks in advance.

If you are willing to pay for a private header, you can aswell buy the game :)
Who says it is still as private as he says? he can aswell sell it to anyone, telling it's a private header, only for you?

Buy a game, find someone with a GW and dump the game for yourself, this way you are 100% sure it's a private header and stays that way.

I've already got one retail card. But the fact is that I don't know someone who has a GW. I'm even the only one in my inner circle to have a 3DS....

Don't buy a private header from anywhere buy a game and rip the header yourself

Then find a trusted member with a high post count send them a new copy of a crappy 5$ game let them rip the header and destroy the game on camera.

Ok, if you know someone.... I don't have the access to the trade forum. So, where do I make my call ?

I would do it but you're in france try making another thread titled "looking for french member to rip private header" in this section .

This is a good question that I don't think anyone's asked before.
I think headers are universal, the only thing that can cause problems is the manufacturer ID which some claim has to match what the game originally came with. There are 3 different chip manufacturers but one is far more common than the others.

Okay, thanks. I'll do it.

Also gateway rom patcher will choose the best chip manufacturer regardless + you can change it if needed

Indeed, but I've heard people say in the context of Sky3DS that you need a header from a game with a matching chip manufacturer. Maybe people are just too dumb to change the chip manufacturer themselves :P

Any header works for Sky regardless of chip. I was under this impression too but it isn't the case.
