So I got a 3ds recently and the only thing I tried with it so far are the AR cards that came with it. I put the "?" mark one on my kitchen table and did the archery game. As I got up to the dragon statue, I noticed it lagging. I tried getting a little closer and it didn't really affect the lag at all. When the dragon fight happened, there was on and off lag depending as to what was going on....

Is this normal? I have nothing to compare it against, but it seems kinda crappy if the default games that come with the 3DS lag by themselves. Seems like Nintendo should have it's demo stuff at least running optimally on a brand new system.

(I have not updated firmware, or changed anything besides the date/time settings. It's stock from when I opened it up last week)

    Thanks for any info!

I have no lag when using awesome lighting. Best thing to do is use an Ipod or PSP for an image of an AR card.

Supposedly the update to 1.1.0_1 fixes lag in games like Face Raiders and AR Games.

Thanks Slyakin for the news. Does Nintendo post fw update release notes, that state such lag correction?
