Anytime I try to add songs to my iPod Tocuh, I get Apple Mobile Device service could not be started. If I try to start it manually with my iPod plugged in it errors, and if its not plugged in stops right when I do plug it in. Any suggestions? Thanks.

you don't have to reinstall. you either have to manually start the service or set it to auto.

start>run: services.msc

locate apple mobile device. right click>properties>startup type: automatic.

unplug your ipod and start the service. then plug in your ipod and you should be fine. and if not, then jes, reinstall itunes.

Bump. I've seriously tried everything. I've reinstalled iTunes multiple times, reset the AMDS, downgraded iTunes, made sure it wasn't my iPod Touch that was the problem (my friends iPod Touch isn't recognized by iTunes either). I've seriously about to freak the fuck out. Can someone please help me?!
