    Apogee Software is back!
For those who don't remember (or wasn't born) Apogee is the creator of the original Duke Nukem and Comander Keen games.. and now it's bringing 3 new Duke Nukem games for the handheld console market .

The games are being made with 3D Realms and MachineWorks under the name of "Duke Nukem Trilogy™" with 3 episodes: Critical Mass™, Chain Reaction™, and Proving Grounds™.

The company also announced that it has plans to revive it's other classic franchises.

    No more details were announced.

    Ctrl+F "Raptor"
    "Raptor" not found. D:

Still, that would be pretty cool to have even the old classic games on a handheld like this. I wonder though, if there are going to be three Duke games, are they going to be separate purchases, or an all-in-one cart?

Still would like Raptor DS, eheh...

Dear Apogee, if possible please bring these series back with new games:

    Alien Carnage/Halloween Harry
Wacky Wheels (best Mario Kart clone ever)
    Death Rally
    Blake Stone
    Monster Bash
    Raptor: Call of the Shadows
    Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
    Realms of Chaos
    Hocus Pocus
Boppin' (ok on the Amiga it wasn't published by them but still a classic)
    Bio Menace
    Commander Keen

P.s. Make sure they are not shit like Commander Keen GBC.

Most of these where by 3D Realms

mmmm, Commander Keen brings back so many fond memories. I still remember being freaked of the weirdo/fast moving boss-type monsters.

Commander Keen was an id game, too bad. I wouldn't mind some modern Keen action, if only id Software hadn't (literally!) killed him in Doom 2.

Anyway, I needs me some Duke Nukem, Cosmo, Agent 006 1/2, and Mylo Steamwitz on my PSP!

    Monster bash was kinda fun.
Thinking about it I can compare it with Little Nemo for the NES, just with zombies.

    Still a childhood favorite.

Though would a little kid in pajamas fighting zombies really hit it off in todays nutso crowd.

Though thinking of little kids and zombies, wasn't Grabed by the Ghollies pretty much close to that?
Never really played or heard much about that game.

Halloween Harry also had zombies and would make a wonderfull 3D game today.
Though it would completly suck if it got turned survival horror.

So their remaking the origonal two duke nukem games?
    It's a little better as a 2D platformer though.
I can see them remaking Duke Nukem 3D somehow though.

Hey wait.... what about duke nukem forever? xD

    DS and PSP, great! [IMG]

When will developers learn that multi-platform usually means either a shit port for one console or not enough effort for the other!? I'd rather just hear it was PSP exclusive and know it stands a chance of being awesome (and I don't even have a PSP, I just love Duke Nukem).

    GRR!

It's like the Xbox/PS2 saga all over again.

More news, straight from IGN and the CEO of Apogee (now separate from 3DRealms? 3DRealms was just on of Apogee's new names like Pinball Wizards?)
I can not wait for the PSP versions!

pasc, do you mean the 3D one? Don't tell me that GBA had a 2D scrolling Duke Nukem 2D.
