The equipment list for armor is really weird and skips around a lot, I think that might be the case.
it's not unheard of. I know Fantasy Life does two byte item IDs (and doesn't bother distinguishing between item types in the ID: it lets a list of what ID is what item type determine where each should show up in inventory/storage sorting - without actually changing the item order on sort). In any case, decorations in MH4U were two bytes when equipped (with the first bit denoting whether the decoration was locked or not).Yeah I'm just looking over my gear right now. I managed to find sometime to play it a bit, and after looking at the data for a while, I think that might be the case.
Completely unrelated: I think I figured out the palico color hex values. I got a whit palico and the color code was F0F0F0FF. Comparing this with other random palicos, the last byte is always FF. The first three bytes seem to correspond to the RGB color, in hexadecimal (though the order might be mixed a little if bytes are inverted). I wouldn't advise full white (FFFFFFFF) or full black (000000FF) as it would make things too bright/dark, but midrannge colors should be fine (best guess F0F0F0FF would be the ideal brightest and 101010FF the darkest. Try not to go above/below those).
Edit: lol. how did these posts not merge. Whatever.
very nice. I'll be testing that out later. First Imma see if I can make an ultimate palico first (just need to test if the skills/abilities took. afterwards I'll copy the skills/other data over my first palico I scouted by looks to make it look as good as it's skills/abilities)Well I know in MH4U it was 2 bytes. I'll look more into it later on.
Anyways, new update: v0.09
What's new:
-You can now export your palicos into a .catz file! (.cat was already taken by some window files)
Fairly certain the color is in RGBA so I'm sure you can change the final FF to change the alpha/opacityCompletely unrelated: I think I figured out the palico color hex values. Invisicat, go (assuming that works). I doubt I'll test it...Fairly certain the color is in RGBA so I'm sure you can change the final FF to change the alpha/opacity
When launching jksm, during title selection screen, keep holding L+R when selecting one of the titles..not mhg, something like majora mask,mh4u.Not sure if this was already asked, but can you hack the digital copy of mhg? I've got it to work completely fine on my 3ds, and currently trying to help my buddy out. The difference is that I have a cartridge and hes on digital. I've got the homebrew to boot through OoT. I also have JKSM on both of ours along with the starter kit files. It "sees" MHG, but freezes when I'm trying to run the digital version on his 3ds.
