It remains the same on character selection, once you go in game, check your inventory

The issue is I can't even get passed the error that force closes the game and reboots my 3ds. I deleted JKSV, downloaded 3dsx version as linked by iSharingan because my version is 11.0.0, deleted old save, exported>edited>imported and still same error

signed up just to write this. in mhgen make sure you already have the organizer and pack rat guide bought before you edit your save to have every item. that is because once you edit your item box to have everything you need about 13 boxes worth of space but you only start with 10 and the market lady wont sell you those two items if you already have them in your item box or inventory. or you can make sure to take those two items from the edit list before you put the extdata back into your game. i know it sounds confusing but just a heads up.

That probably means you screwed up real bad like changing your HR when you didn't get far enough into the game.

I only changed zenny to 900k, two palicos to level 10, used some options to unlock crafting equipment, and an item box export list someone else posted on this thread

change the palico levels back for now. It might be a mismatch between their exp and level, but then again there might be something else to it as well (such as a flag that has not been triggered that should be). Always keep a backup of your pre-edit save for occasions like this

Importing more items than slots you unlocked might make you crash as well.

Capcom's pretty aggressive this time around

nope. you just cant access the items in the 'locked' boxes until you buy the organization/pack rat guides. As soon as you do the items show up for you to use

Created an account just to post in here. @APM, Absolutely stunning work! Is the addition of equipment stat/elemental stat editing in the works for a future build of the editor? Because that would be absolutely clinch.

Managed to get it to work. Thank you all for your assistance and for being so patient with me. I know I must have been quite annoying or irritable lol

Glad you're enjoying it. I don't think it's possible to make an equipment stat/elemental stat editor since most of that stuff is hardcoded, and there's no relic weapons in 4U.

I completely forgot about the Relic system and the non static stats. That makes perfect sense! My bad.
Capcom indeed made the customization much more limited this go round.

I did this as well. Sadly can't even get items to show up even if you put them in box 11-14. Hopefully we can get a "unlock box" option to fix this. Help us out APM please!

I just removed them from my box in game, and she let me purchase the item again, however, I noticed that while I looked into the box and saw the boxes added, once I hit sort, it removed the boxes from being viewable anymore. Gonna edit the actual extdata to remove items from the extra boxes to see if the extra boxes return or not.

How do you make it to work? I'm apparently new to this 3DS modding. Any tips or how to install it or something like that?
If you don't already have a method of accessing the Homebrew channel (I didn't.) The easiest option would be to use a Powersaves dongle and the OOThax method of getting access to it. There are a few tutorial videos out there of the exact process if you look deeply enough. They are specifically for the 11.0.0.33.U update as well.

^Sadly that didnt work for me and removing the organizer/pack rat items didnt allow me to rebuy them.

There's this fix from https://gbatemp.net/threads/mhx-save-editing.404280/

"item/equipment boxes not unlocking Bug Fix
(it happens after cheating in the packrat/backpacker/organizer guides!)
Here is the fix:
savedataX hex offset: :01A22(add it to 000c7a1c or 001b2f48 or 0029e474) and edit the next 8 bytes to those values 00 20 60 40 00 20 60 40 (this will unlock 14 item/equipment boxes and 7 palico boxes)"

Now I'm looking at that mhx save editing program and am lost on how to do so, so hopefully this can point someone in the right direction and explain/fix it
