(I am a noob, so if I make any mistakes let me know..)

I'm currently modifying my Wii. I'm someone who's trying to learning Japanese and I'm hoping to practice by changing the System Menu language to Japanese with AnyRegionChanger. However, my Wii is the black no gamecube port Lu64+ kind and I have read that the program can brick your Wii if it is Lu64+. What is this all about? Is it still possible?

Personally, I wouldn't risk it anyway for the reason you want (remember, you can run region free games through other methods).

Looking into it, the issue seems to be that you lack bootmii as boot2 brick protection and there's an issue if you want to run older versions of IOS.

Thank you for your response! I'll probably not do it and instead find a way to load Japanese-language games and the such. Today I'm working on brick protection- this morning I dumped my NAND into my SD Card using BootMii and later I plan to install an IOS and prepare Priiloader.

Again, thank you!

EDIT: I actually decided to check the serial numaer and not be lazy, and apparently it is not LU64! It is along the lines of KU.. I may try AnyRegionChanger though I want to be careful
