Btw the blue light reducer is quite nice, as it is similar to iPhone's night shift

Oh, and someone else on the forum told me to use electric tape over the led's, which was genius, cause that blue light is like laser to my eyes in the dark. I always keep a bit of it attached to the back of my N3DS grip.

You could be one of those people who have a bright LCD? Maybe a screen protector might dim it out? Maybe 70%+ window tint could be your thing?

But nope as already mentioned NTR did have a brightness control option that could lower the brightness right down, idk if maybe it's been broken by updates but iirc it worked when I tried it a while back

In all seriousness they DO sell "gaming glasses" for people that prefer less blue backlighting. It does give screens a "yellowish" tint until your eyes adjust to the unlit contrast; but it helps a lot.

I think that's better than reducing the backlight altogether since the darker it gets, the more detail you lose. I'd rather see all the detail AND not hurt my eyes.
