I made a post about this in the Fake R4 thread thing, no one knew what it was, except that it's not an R4.

Had an R4 sticker though.

Is the MicroSD slot spring-loaded? From what I can see it looks that way.

If it had an R4 sticker on it, then it can only be one of the many fake R4s that are floating about.

- Eh.. I thought so, I guess I just wanted a second answer to compare I guess. The Actel chip made me think it was a different cart. I think I remember hearing another cart company uses it or something, I don't know..

Well, now I guess I need to buy a new cart to replace it. ( It never did fit right in the DS-Lite since the two chips make it hard to push the cart it. ) This is just a good excuse to get a new one.

Almost anything should boot an e-z 3in1 gba cart right? Need to pick between a M3 model or Cyclo, heard those were the two most popular choices.

thaat's the exact same R4 my friend has when we opened it !! zomg it's fake T_T wasted money gone the drain ... and it wasnt bought online , it was bought at some mall in ontario, canada called pacific mall ! life sucks for him ... and he payed $100 for it too ! i guess we were scared to take the sticker off bu at least no we know it's fake and we all what that means ... it can brick his ds !!

That's what I heard! I remember now.
Funny thing, I was just reading that thread! It does look very tempting at that price.. plus it would work with my Wii with that new update.

But, from reading the posts, it doesn't look like anyone has cracked theirs open to see if it's real or not. Never ordered anything beside the e-z 3in1 from DX, and that took forever to get here.. I'll ask over there is anyone has opened theirs up.

- Sorry to hear that... that's a pretty heavy price to pay for a flash-cart, fake or not. Well.. here's advice, never order from amazon when you're desperate.

lol thx for the help ! but he didnt order from amazon ! he actually bought it right in front of himself at some asian mall ! but probably was hard to see if fake or not since ...
- looked a lot like the R4 V2
- Everything was even included too !

and one thing i would do if i were you was post or make this into a video at like you tube ! many people will become more careful ...
oh and post it somewhere popular too !

and one question ? did yours come with a wrist strap or not ? cause my friend's didnt !

Oh, I know. I was just saying. Amazon is the worst for this kind of thing.

Yeah, mine came with everything the real one did. Case, CD, MircoSD to USB, Wrist Strap, and the R4 itself.

It was the original, then again, anyone can burn a mini-CD I guess. I mean, with the right burner, then you'd need a CD label maker to make the same logo --------- it was the original I guess.
