Who doesn't want to flex their e-muscle to impress people?

"Hey baby, I have 1000 Wii Online points"
-"Oh, I want to have sex with you"
"Damn right"

Well, the mods seem good atm (play nearly all games) but I wonder if Nintendo will really crack down on mods through updates. Still no updates for the wii mods (wiikey atleast - no update), so until an update comes out I'm not buying a wiikey or any mod...

(PS I think wiikey needs a new chip to counter the clones)

Yeas it doesn't really need an update...

Even with firmware updates, I don't see the current drive chips being much better than they already are except for compatibility.

The WiiFree has had plenty of updates, but that should be only for those with at least a little experience with microcontrollers.

Frankly, why wait? There are what, 150+ games out. So that's roughly 50 per region. So, even sticking to your own region, a current chip gets you 50 games. That, very likely, will never be taken away. The hardest part is getting a Wii. If you've got that accomplished, might as well open it up to everything currently available.

in germany you can at least get about 10 Wiis in a gamestop or any other store who has nintendo ..

So ...

for me, super paper mario is a good enough reason for me to mod it here in aus... i think ppl can get PAL systems easily coz of their lack of games, thus less ppl want them... last time i check, all stores here have wii in stock (jb hifi, myer, eb)
