Castlevania Portrait of Ruin will lock up. Tony Hawk Downhill Jam doesn't work correctly no matter what kind of card you use.

i'm currently using an R4 w/ japanese 2gig kingston, and my castlevania PoR has been locking up sometimes when I portal warp. Any suggestions?
