Hacking Anyone ever done an external screen mod?

Just wondering if anyone has or knows about an external display mod for a DS, eg hooking it up to a larger screen or something? I saw somewhere on the net a couple of devices that would allow you to hook one up to a tv, one was awesome but the company stopped making it and they only make this crappy version now... sorry lost the link!

I'd love to mod one myself to do this! have to start studying...

As Far As i know the only way is to mount a webcam facing the screen. I suppose someone may hack the top or bottom or both, lcd's to a external device, but that really won't make it porable as such. But if it was possible to hook up an external device to the slot 2 and allowed video out would be cool. but i'm pretty sure not gonna happen.
I may be wrong, but others can prob help ya out better.

I don't have the technical expertise to create such a contraption to hook up to my PC...I'm a softmodder pure and simple.
Seems absolutely great though, wonder if the guy would feel like setting up a business selling them and the USB adaptors.

I must be the only person on the planet not to see that! I've ran extensive google searches for video hacks and that didn't come up too! Plus I've only been interested in the DS for like a week now! Before I knew nothing about it, but my little bro got one and I've been hooked!
