Misc Anyone actually bother with MKDS WFC?

Eh.

I booted up my Mario Kart DS cart in my DS, linked to WFC and chose rivals, regional (AUS), worldwide, and it never finds anyone... and even says "you may not be able to gather 4 players"... I SavSende'd it over to my R4 eventually, and same result.

Does anyone actually play it on WFC, as I said?

2 years old, sure, but I think it's a gem of a game.

I can't be bothered getting my friend code, and I don't go on WFC much but meh.

How do I create rival on this game?

Usually I just pick worldwide and wait around 1-2 minutes before is can get opponents.

This game has lot of CHEATER!!!!!

rivals are people with the same win:lose ratio, so you actually stand a chance when playing

Personally, I never choose rivals because it never yields any results. Try searching for opponents worldwide but there's more chance of you facing really experienced players and getting your ass kicked.

if you play it around now, you might get some pwnful japanese players
playing with friends is the best option though

Whenever I play, it takes ages to find an opponent, and when I find one, they always leave after some Jaejae pwnage.
I know, pathetic, calling myself pwnage on the interbutt.

I stopped going on Wi-Fi when everyone I go against disconnects after a few minutes into the race.

50% of the time you get cheaters
100% of the time you get snakers
90% of the time you get disconnecters

Why bother?
