I know that if there's a website that does it, it's probably going to be in the hundreds of dollars, but that's fine for me. I know of this website:
http://3dscapture.com/

However, that only goes up to 480p, so it's not what I'm looking for. Does anyone else know of another group of people who have figured out how to do it at 720p?

With that said, I'm not sure what quality the games are themselves and I'm having a hard time figuring it out. If they're only at 480, then the website above is alright. If they're higher, then I want higher.

Also, same question but for the Playstation Vita?

I don't even think that the 3DS can go any higher than 480p. The 3DS Capture device you linked is about as good as you'll get for now.

I've seen videos captured from the Vita on Youtube that use his capture boards that are in 720p so assume they do.

Were the videos a single screen at a time, or both? Got a link so I can pull and examine it?

Both, I thought the Vita only had one screen. :D

Click the cog of course, and select 720p.

EDIT: You may have to go to the video's youtube page, and click 720p there.

What is the native resolution of the 3DS, anyway? I have always wondered that.
800x240 for the top screen in 2D Mode (for the rendered parts only, the non-rendered GUI's are 400x240 at all times), effectively 400x240 when in 3D mode (two 400x240 images interlaced), 320x240 for the bottom screen.

Oh, okay, thanks a lot ^_^ As for the output resolution quality, or whatever its called? (240p, 360p or 480p)

Just to clarify a little point...

There's no such thing as an 800x240 resolution in 2D mode. 2D mode is still 400x240, the difference in 3D is that it renders two 400x240 images at the same time instead of only one. The 3DS doesn't split the image in half vertically, it's two separate ones...
