Homebrew Any way to get passed amiibo crash in paperjam?

I'm on 9.2 cfw O3DS. After the first boss fight (perry piranhas) I'm forced to click the amiibo button which gives me this error:

An error has occurred. Hold down the power button to turn off the power. Then turn it on and try again.

Are you actually running the game on your 9.2 sysnand? If so, why aren't you using an updated emunand instead?

There are ways to run multiple emunands, but I am also unsure of what you would need more than one emunand for in the first place. Easiest thing to do would be to use your sysnand any time you need to do something that requires being in a 9.0-9.2 environment.

Make a nand.bin backup and an emunand.bin backup. You'll be fine. Just make sure in system settings it says either rei or rx.
