So I've got a PSTV here. It's on 3.65 and I'd like to keep it there and not update.

With all the PS Vitas I've done they've either been up to date or I've connected via USB and no issues with QCMA. With this PSTV I'm having a load of issues. Basically it's asking my to update. Any stuff I've tried like Vita Update Blocker just causes it to not connect to the PSTV at all. Obviously usb connection doesn't work with the PSTV.

It would be easy for me to update to 3.68 and use QCMA but I don't want to do it I want to use enso!

I have tried adding update.playstation.net to my routers blocking page. If i go to settings and try to update it just errors but QCMA still says i need to update to use it.

I have tried to rebuild database.

I have tried to use henkaku 3.65 dns update server.

Did you turn on offline mode in QCMA?
Also, and I dunno if this is still the case, but on previous firmwares, once the flag to update is turned on, that may kind of be it. It may not go away.

Yeah Offline mode is on. I have tried to reformat the PSTV and start again and it does the same which i would hope resets that flag but maybe not.

Right so being unable to figure the issue out i did this the long ass way and it may help others if i document it here...

I have a 3.65 enso Vita, i removed my sd2vita and put in a 4gb Vita card.
I installed h-encore and downloaded Vitashell through it. I then went into settings and unlinked my card.
I then reset the PSTV and set up from scratch using my account i have on my Vita that i set up the 4gb card.
Powered off the PSTV and then booted it up with the 4gb card in it. Ran h-encore and installed Henkaku.
I then opened Vitashell and mounted imc0. I copied the full ux0 (4gb Vita card) to imc0 (PSTV internal memory 1gb).
Powered off the PSTV and removed the 4gb Vita card. Powered back on, ran h-encore installed Hankaku.
Now i could open Vitashell and install Simple Account Switcher and enso.

Changed the account to what i want to use on it and installed enso. The rest was set up as normal.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
