Hacking Any other ways to install ReINX?

Hi, I got my switch. Read some threads, as always. But there are so many things, that I just don’t know which one is up to date.

Is there any other way to install CFW without SX OS and entering RCM?

Don’t we have some kind of web homebrew, like we did have it on the 3DS?

And can I have somehow homebrew launcher without changing the „Album“ title to Homebrew launcher?

You always have to go thru RCM if you want CFW for now. If you want homebrew only (no warez and so on, only emulators) you can try this.

But what I don’t get is... how are the people doing it? Are they opening up the joycon or the Nintendo switch? Because on videos I see both

You don't have to open up either. All you need is a jig and a device to send the payload with (dongle, PC, Android phone), and a cable of course.
Normally you open the Switch only if you want to install a permanent modchip. The JoyCon can be permanently modded to act as a jig as well, but Nintendo recently added a check that semibricks JoyCons that have the mod that makes the "home" button permanently pressed.
