About a year back I've heard on this forum that there are other publicly undisclosed hardware exploits for mariko units than the one currently being used by the modchips. Is this the case? If so are they in any way more easier to use or just a bit more practical?

That was not my question, i know there are not any softmods and probably never will be due to the lack of exploitable bugs, however i am asking about hardware bugs, such as the bct glitching one that is used by the current modchips, because i believe i have heard about some other ones. Sorry if I am incorrect

I am so sorry there seems to be a misunderstanding again, all of the modchips, as far as I know, function on the same hardware flaw (BCT glitching). But I've heard there are other hardware flaws which could be used, and I'm asking if they actually exist and it wasn't just something I made up, and if they do exist why aren't they being used (maybe they are less practical or something along those lines)? I will try to find the thread where I've heard this :)

I believe i have found it, sounds a bit like some he said she said stuff but i don't know. Sorry for being annoying. Found out i can't link so it's post "What's the "save data exploit" in games like Splatoon 2?" second page, 13th post from up-down, and i'm specifically referring to the fourth line down-up.

Because why they should give all the cards on the table? So Nintendo could fix them all at once?

There is publicly known one good hardware exploit. You are not making public other exploits while risk of Nintendo patching those exploits exists.

That makes sense, thank you for your kindness.
