I think it's plain to see that a DS emulator wouldn't be very easy to play, and not practical at all. Upscaling DS games to a larger size would be ugly and leave lots of black round the sides (due to 2 screens vertically not fitting perfectly into the average TV screen), the microphone would be difficult to implement unless you used Wii Speak (which most people don't own, as it's overly expensive). Using a Wiimote wouldn't feel right for a lot of games, and probably wouldn't give the accuracy needed for more complex games such as WarioWare, EBA, Rhythm Tengoku.

A DS emulator would be cool in theory, but in practice it would just be uncomfortable to use. And that's not even considering all the programming needed to get a DS emulator to work on the Wii.

It's totally possible to be made, you can for example try to port the desmume from the computer to the wii.(this is a suggestion to everyone who likes to ask things instead of think that nobody's is being paid to do that).
If you don't know how to port is really simple:
-Pick the source code
-Look the entire source code and change all the graphic command's, audio command's and maybe other command's for the wii and libogc.
-Look for x86 asm command's and change them for the powerpc one's.
-Pray to compile.
-Discover that you don't know how they made it work.
-Give up and go do something more constructive in your life.

Even if somebody would made it would be funny watching people trying to play games like Ouedan or Mario Basketball or any other game that use's a lot the stylus...it would be the most horrible thing to play. Only games like phoneix wright it would be cool to play since it doesn't have almost no human interface it's just read and choose the right answer.(if you japanese you can play the first 3 phoenix wright for GBA).
Another problem is the DS screen, because it's really smal and some games that use the fact of small screen sometimes they just make horrible graphics that look good in the small screen and when you increase the size it stay's worst than the DS. This were more common in the GBA, and when i played the GBA emulator for Xbox on my TV i saw how horrible the graphics were on some games, but there are others that stay's really good like mario luigi super star saga. In the DS most games have good graphics.
