Hacking Any disadvantages when running CFG+FTP?

Are there performances hits or shorter batter life while having FTP as kip activated ?

FTP is really slow and unreliable. That's about it. No disadvantages to the CFW itself.

Agreed. Although I will use it to transfer smaller files nothing over 500mb. It would be faster to pull th SD card and put it in desktop transfer files then pop back in

Hopefully soon we'll have fast USB-cable file transfers, not just nsp installs.
