DS games, more often than not, has turn based games such as FFTA 2, Luminous arc, etc.
As much as i hate myself for it, i cant stand playing them for longer than hour per time
anyhow...
are there any games which have smilar gameplay as Soma Bringer or FFCC;Ring of Fates?
are they like only games with that kind of gameplay?

Avalon Code. It's only in Japan for the time being, but it's been confirmed for US (no date though). It's really awesome, so keep an eye on it.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days isn't out yet, but it's pretty much guaranteed to be awesome. Same goes for Phantasy Star 0. Sorry for not giving you any good current ones. All the goodies are still coming.

There is a game called Contact: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contact_(video_game)
It's pretty fun, if you ask me, but some parts in the game are a bit repiticious.

You can also try Sonic Chronicles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Untitled_Sonic_RPG
I have not had a chance to get into this one yet since I am playing Contact.

Chrono Trigger was just released November 25th so you may have a hard time finding it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrono_Trigger
I have only played this for about an hour, so I really can't give you a review, but I did play it on the Super Nintendo back in 1995 and when I was a kid, I LOVED it.

(I'm sorry that I can't think of any more games at the moment... I am at work and pretty much EVERYTHING is blocked...

(My signature is blocked because it's from photobucket...

I had, finished, and sold back Contact. That game is pretty damn interesting and it can be hard in places if you're not juiced up enough for sure. I recommend peeking at that, but also wouldn't those "mana" games from square work too?

oO'' What an excellent answer. After the OP stated Soma Bringer... you say Soma Bringer.

I really like Contact. I had to get help from GameFaqs more often the usual. Many people don't know about this game. I found out about it when I googled top ds games: http://www.gamepro.com/article/features/20...-best-ds-games/

It was one of the best games that I have ever played. It's unique and it makes you wonder.

I don't know if it qualifies as such, but I loved Matio and Luigi Partners in time.
It had a great story, funny humor and interesting turn based combat, but unlikely from other rpgs, you can actually press butttons during attacks and defenses to enhance them, so you are not really sitting there watching them fight.
Also battles can be completely avoided most of the times by staying clear from enemies, therefore you don't even have to deal with the unpleasant ( for me ) random battles every few second like most RPGs.
And if you dig that, make sure you check Mario and Luigi first appearance on the GBA, that was even better !

Contact seem to be high on the list...
and other games are in translation or not out yet,

stilll, i think Ds lacks some action rpgs tho

does Mario and Luigi count? i mean the battles are turnbase, but they have action commands...
