i have to transfer through shitty ftp. usb mode is broken for sd2vita

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

first i thought it errors because of my 256GB card but other people have the same prob

Wonder if i put all my vpks at once and then install?

Ok so next thing i would suggest would be to turn the vita completely off and then eject that sd card? Kinda like when you remove from a phone or pc without ejecting the sd card first? Idk just brainstorming.

I suppose the only other alternative(with the exception of ftp) right now would be to install on the sony memory card then transfer the new contents to the sd? Overright each time? I am new to vita hacking so correct me if I am wrong.

tried it now with FTPing, also doesn´t work......

i will try to format the sd again and copy ux0: and 2 vpk´s

For those who have done the sd2vita. How many files do you ftp over. I only have 14 but feel like the other ones are missing. I have enabled hidden files etc.

I got two sd2vita cards. I tested it out and it works. I used the micro sd as uma0: and ux0 remains the proprietary memory card.
I can see uma0 on vitashell but not on molecular shell. is that normal?

Also my adrenaline disappeared

While the SD2Vita is a great idea, I think I'm going to wait till the 2nd or third design that is pre soldered, and has a plastic case around the PCB so that it functions like a normal game card as far as the spring is concerned. 3.60 FW vitas are getting harder to find cheaply, I don't want to screw up the cartridge slot in the one that I have.

Seems like >128GB microSD is the problem here, right? I checked Reddit and saw people with similar problem. Another problem is once it's over 130GB, it shows no space, and they have to plug the card into a computer to copy dummy file. Delete the dummy file on Vita and that dummy file size become available

No. The problem is that if your sd is big 64+ I want to say, after formatting with win32. Your card will need to be formated in exfat, but don't leave it as default, set it to 64 kb cluster size. That will fix the problem. Just back up your sd first so you don't lose anything.
