Homebrew Another installing CFW onto New 2DS question. (Noob)

My brother is getting a New 2DS XL and I want to install CFW onto it. I'm going to use the game injection method, but I have a question.

I have a ton of homebrew apps on my 3DS. Will that effect anything?

I also have splashes on it and some stuff for my Wii U.

I've also installed a ton of CIAS onto my 3DS.

Am I ok to transfer? I really do NOT want to brick either of DS systems and want my 3DS to be just like it was before.

Since you'll be making a NAND backup of your source 3DS before the transfer, you don't have to worry about losing anything on that 3DS. The target 3DS will only end up with legitimate titles, such as the modified DSiWare title.

On the source 3DS, you will not lose anything except your NNID, which can be manually transferred back to the source 3DS via a phone call.

They will not be transferred to the target 3DS, and they will still be on your source 3DS after you restore your NAND backup and SD card contents.
