Guess the long delay really was because of additional DRM implementation. Not that I'm judging

I actually gave myself an April deadline and was about to purchase the MT Card, but ended up ordering the Gateway 2 minutes ago. Nice timing there, although Gateway could have earned a few more customers with better updates.

Yeah, this DRM implementation of requiring the GW card to be in when booting is good. Way better than the brick code.

Looks like I grabbed it just in time. Not that it won't be all over the internet in about five minutes. Anyways, the thought of testing this out gets me all excited and tingly, but I dooon't knoooow ... I sure hope it doesn't have any kind of countdown to brick or anything like that, because if it does, I'm taking everyone down. Gateway, Sorox, EVERYONE. If you're reading this and anything happens to my 3DS, I'm taking YOU down.
;_;
Well, if it bricks you, I have just a high of a chance of getting bricked too D:

Guys, just a friendly reminder that due to DMCA takedown notices GBAtemp is (and has been) no longer able to link to or host files for the Gateway 3DS and other 3DS flashcards. This extends to our sister site as well, Filetrip. Please do not ask for or share links to these files.

Gave 2.0 Omega a quick go. Here are my first impressions and observations:

- On first boot you are prompted to update the GW card, which doesn't take long
- The integrated menu looks great and is fast!
- My 64GB SDXC works, which is formatted in exFAT
- Save files are NOT stored on the microSD card, but still on the big SD card in the 3DS
- Harmo Knight doesn't work, doesn't even show up when selected
- The games aren't sorted by letter
- The last played game isn't memorized on the integrated menu

Wait till 1st April, all beta tester's 3DS will suddenly brick, that will be one hell of prank :yaysp:

I got the beta too. I asked a long time ago before everyone started emailing them lOL. So they put me on the list. Just redoing emunand now (was on mt firmware LOL) needed pokemon online and eshop etc all to work perfect.

But i hope no one leaks it all we need is another group to leave the scene, because people cant keep their trust

just a question : can I update emuNAND to the lastest firmware please guys?

Their splitter tool doesn't work to well. It took a lot to finish the job with the Jap Kirby game and at the end it just ended up creating a copy of the rom with a 3d0 extension with the same 1GB of length.

Gonna go tinker with this now.
I Have a feeling when i come back here theres gonna be 20+ pages lol.

Question for anyone who tested this yet.
Is it possible to use an updated GW card with the old launchers? I.E: 2.0b1

i presume it will only be for games over 4GB....its a splitter, not a trimmer

As long as there's no brick code, I'm buying. No one brought up region-lock yet, so I'm assuming no region-free integration?
