Was hoping maybe you could do some of these sweet forwarders for some of the homebrew coming out for the WODE optical drive emulator.

http://code.google.com/p/wodebrew/downloads/list

I am most interested in one for the Wodeflow and I am sure it would be easy to alter the one you already have to do this as I use the Wiiflow one now but I had to rename the folder on my Sd card to Wiiflow. Looks kinda tacky but works. I was hoping maybe you could work your magic on some of these as your forwaders are the only ones I use as they just go with the Darkwii theme so well. Thanks and look forward to seeing some of these done if you see fit and have the time to do so.

edit

actually a AIO like "Wode Loader" kinda like the the "Wad Manager" one would be great since it is for such a small niche user. All it would require is the loader of choice would need a simple folder rename.

my "request" is that you just make one for the popular emulators, which u did 4 almost all

thanks!

i'll get round to doing more forwarders when i get time, been really preoccupied lately

Thanks to you this is now what my Wii boots into. Thanks for all your work and I am patient until then I will use the wiiflow loader for wodeflow. Man my Wii looks so sweet thanks again!!!

that looks pretty nice actually seeing them on someone else's wii lol, im thinking of redoing the forwarders to match the animation of the TriiForce Forwarder(was the latest with some experimenting) and releasing them as final with hopefully fully working ones that some ppl have had trouble with

I have installed each one of your and all are 100% working on a 4.1U Wii with all the softmod trimmings and Wode well I guess mod/drive chip

Thanks a ton up until now I stuck with the stock screen, now my Wii matches my jtag 360 entertainment stand and it's own case.

Same here. I haven't install all of them because I don't use all of those apps, but DarkWii Extended wii system menu + black forwarders looks like tha bomb.

Friends are jealous.

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

is it possible to make the hbc and opera channel in that design. probably not, since they arent apps, right? maybe even a black disc channel^^
btw, cfg loader and priiloader dls dont work for me... mediafire keeps refreshing.

These are great, thanks for all the hard work!

So what does the SNEEK2 channel do, is it like Switch2SNEEK? I never got it to work for my UNEEK install, so any hints would be appreciated.

mmmm well its a forwarder that boots bootmii IOS(IOS254), so it will boot bootmii from the SM or SNEEK if you have it

Sounds like what I was looking for. Any chance of retouching it for a UNEEK version?

Edit: Actually, it's -almost- what I needed. I want UNEEK to not start on startup, just when this channel runs. And I'm too lazy to get up and insert/eject the SD w/UNEEK.

Ideas?

if you have all your homebrew apps that you use outside off SNEEK, SNEEK's NAND dump and what not on the same SD, that is all you need, SNEEK wont boot until you run the SNEEK channel for the SM on your actual wii not SNEEK, i dont know what your getting at?

looks and works great. thank you

i see you got it working then.............

@all

if the channels do not work after a successful install then it is a user error on your end as all channels have been check on several wii versions with different setups

Try

Updating your IOS35 or simply change which IOS you want the channel to run on
Updating the app related to the forwarder also helps as i use the most recent as a benchmark, as date of OP then again at new app release where possible
Having the apps in the correct location is also a great help, all paths are given in the OP

2 get sneek to launch at startup on wii's that don't have bootmii as boot2

install priiloader, and configure the settings to launch bootmii at startup, then just make the card with sneek is inserted in the wii when it is powered on, then it will automatically load sneek

yeah but he doesnt want it to auto boot but to run when the channel is launched from the SM, would he then have to disable autoboot in the .ini?, i dont have boot2 so its not a pressing matter to me lol

bootmii switch is probably best for that scenario

u can have a bootmii folder set to launch sneek, but have it named "~bootmii" (this way sneek wont initiate on startup on wii's with bootmii as boot2)

then launch bootmii switch, have it switch the bootmii folders (up or down on dpad, cant remember), then hit A (I think, just read the onscreen instructions) to launch sneek

Yeah, I have BootMii as boot2 and as IOS. I have 2 SD cards: a 4GB main one (all my homebrew apps plus some legroom) and an old 64MB one that I just use to launch UNEEK. NAND and more homebrew are stored on the HDD. I like for the BootMii menu to show for a couple seconds on startup (I'm a geek for it, what can I say) but I want to autoboot to SM, then "launch" UNEEK as you would a channel or app. Below sounds like what I'm needing.

That sounds about right, thanks Xflak and Pepxl! I think that's what the switch2sneek program was trying to do but it just fails on me. It may not like the SDHC.

Edit: Bootmii Switch here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171094
I guess I can inject it into the SNEEK channel you made...unless you can be coaxed into making a UNEEK one

Whenever PUNEEK/SNEEK+DI/GX(S) gets to a point that I'm comfortable with I will probably just autoboot into it from the start. Not ready to do that for my setup yet though.
