For the first time ever, I let someone into my town.
He told me he had a "hybrid", whatever that is.
He planted some orange plant and told me to save.
I did and.. my game just gave 2 black screens.
Now.. I can't even start the game anymore.

Oh, and I'm using an R4 for this.

Did this guy break my savegame? Is that even possible?

Yeah, there are hacked items which can ruin your savefile or cause it to glitch severely.

But you're using an R4 right? If you were smart you would've backed up your saves.

Where ever you found that person, go to that forum and report him. Have him banned, blacklisted. Hopefully they'll pull his email and alert all the other big Gamer Scenes on the web.
