Its just a scrubbed release, and ya 500MB is all animal crossing takes. It's not really surprising, if you guys remember the GCN release could be compressed to 14MB!
Btw, I would just stick to scrubbed releases. I have and I have never had any problems with them. In fact, many scrubbed releases i come across already have had updates taken out or have been region patched, so it is really the most hassle free solution.
To all of the people who think scrubbed releases are the work of the devil and always have problems or some crap like that, I usually scrub all of my games, even if I downloaded them full sized to save HD space, and then burn them, and have never had any problems. Also, I have heard many people say this and PLEASE understand that the 'scrubbed' version of SSBB is entirely different from normal scrubs. That SSBB release had many things specifically removed so it could fit on a normal DVD, instead of a DL, but regular scrubbed releases are the EXACT same as the original, only the excess data has been changed to 0's so the game can be COMPRESSED. That's right, a scrubbed release will be the same size as a normal ISO as soon as you extract it from the archive, so there shouldn't be any problems at all burning it.
Sorry for my little rant there, I've just seen so many people spewing nonsense about how bad scrubbed games are, when they really have no clue what they are talking about.
