I was playing my Animal Crossing game and it seems like it's sluggish. Not really lag, but it's like when you play a game with high graphics with a crap computer. Also, I have the original game cart. Does this happen to anyone else too?

Are you using a cheap memory card?,and sometimes it doesn't matter some games are just laggy at times, for example dragon quest monsters joker 2/pro when theres to many monsters running around on the field it slows down and also when you have alot in storage(since they show some animated monsters in the backround) etc etc...

i second this

my fake (made in taiwan) sandisk was givin me trouble, all smooth with the real one (made in japan)

I get what you're talking about. It is an early game that tried to do a lot. It does have a few issues pertaining to how it moves, but nothing game breaking. It wasn't so bad at the time of release, when there weren't a lot of 3D DS games that run as smoothly as ones we have now, but at this point, it is really noticeable.

poor programming = poor framerate (*cough* bayonneta ps3)

this is excusable for AC being an early game released with very lively bunch of stuff on screen ^^
