So I have a very upset child on my hands, and I'm hoping one of you can help.
Animal Crossing, DS. Party... lots of friends and some friends of friends.
Some nice snot used "Gracy's Car Seed" (??) and put two cars in front of her house.
Now she can't get into the house and if we shut it down she won't be able to get out of the house.
She says the only way to resolve the issue is to restart her town... losing everything she's gained over the past few months.
So folks... I'm looking for a way to be "SuperDad" and save the Town.

Thanks,
Mike

Like blade said above, get that animaledit program, but if you want to rip the save from your cartridge, look for a program called Reinmoon, which will allow you to take saves from your cartridges, copy them to your flash cart and allow you to move them to the desktop and whatnot.

Thanks folks. I have all the files, now lets just take an overview.

I use Reinmoon to get the save file from the Original DS Game Cartridge to the Flashcard.
Then move the save file to the PC (btw, I have a Supercard SD).
I can then edit the save file with Animal Crossing Editor.

How do I then get the save file back onto the original DS cartridge?

Thanks,

Mike

That all sounds about right, I've done it with an M3 but never with a SuperCard. You use Rein to copy the save back onto the official cart from the SC. Good luck

EDIT: Don't forget to keep a backup of the original save file before you edit it. The map editor isn't perfect.

Be great if there were any instructions with reinmmon.

So, I've installed it on the PC and I'm left with a directory with fonts, global.ini and stuff in it.
I've got a reinmoon_scsd_supercard.nds file that I've put on my supercard. I run it and says it's missing the font (that is in the reinmoon dir). I tried also moving those fonts to the SD with the same error.
There is also a reinmoonMakeIcon.exe ... what do I do with that?

If there were some instructions... I could follow along, that'd be super... but any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

********disregard above***********
I moved the reinmoon directory to the card also... now working

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
