Hacking Question Animal Crossing BCAT Injecting

So I've got Animal Crossing 1.1.1 installed and Bunny Day is available to the internet-capable public today, but not to offline CFW users like myself. In JKSV it's possible to backup and restore the device save for ACNH, but you'd still need an injection of information to enable Bunny Day. There's an option in JKSV to backup and restore BCAT to a title, and I'm wondering if that's what would have the Bunny Day flag in it, and if it could be dumped from someone with online capability and injected for offline users like myself. Is this possible? Is this information too personalized per town/switch and needs further reverse engineering? Thanks for any solid info you can provide.

Turns out this just became possible. If you backup your BCAT, throw some files in, and restore it you'll unlock the event. I just did this and the eggs are showing up in game. Here are some instructions posted on the temp. Thanks for those.
