I grabbed a couple of roms off a friend to try out recently, but for some inexplicable reason, they all have the suffix .dsg following after the .nds extension. Needless to say, I'm a R4 owner - the roms I received were from a slot-2 Supercard owner - is there anyway to restore the roms back to plain old .nds for use on an R4?

Before anyone asks, yes, I did try changing the extension, by deleting the .dsg

. Didn't help one bit, since the rom refused to even load.

So... any idea?

iamwhoiam is correct, those have been patched using supercard software, and therefore will not work with your R4. I don't know of a way to "unpatch" the roms.

Hmph, that's a bummer then, since I guy I got that from deleted his clean dumps already.

Oh well, thanks for the help. XD Guess I can delete those clumps of useless data now.
