I went to play a Nintendo DS game an this happens ( I bought it at GameStop )
“An error has occurred. press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the operations manual for details.”
Btw 3DS games work fine.
Anyone know what’s wrong?

It's a legit cardtridge, so it sound like a faulty one like AmandaRose said.
Also... I'm not from the USA, but I heard some time ago (here in Mexico) that a videogame buying store, exactly GamePlanet, sold bootleg copies of games, and they never notice. So... maybe a possibility (?).

I think it's a faulty 3DS because my 3DS will say it's dead but when it turns back on it's a full charge
And sometimes the cartridge port doesn't work
And sometimes it won't turn on at all.
And btw it's working now it might just be a faulty 3DS
