ROM Hack An annoying NTR plugin...

Hi everyone !
I have been looking for a Steel diver sub wars 100% savefile for a long time, but since i could not find one i tried the ntr plugins. So i downloaded one, but no explanation was given with the download and i can't find out which buttons are required to open ntr menu while in game

I have a cfw o3ds with luma, region is EUR

Is there anyone that knows how to find, in such a file, the buttons that i have to press to open ntr menu while in game ?

(I've attached the ntr plugin file)

I've already tried x+y and select but none of them work.

What do you mean X+Y doesn't work? Does it at least load up the normal NTR menu? If you mean the cheats won't show up, then it's just Select instead...

I've also tried with select with no results

Also, i've checked the game's title ID with FBI and it matches (00040000000D7E00)

It's press and hold a little. Are you getting the green screen during boot? Does the normal NTR menu appear with X+Y? What do you have the plugin named as with the exact directory?

Oh, i didn't know that i had to hold... i feel a bit dum right now.
The plugin is named 00040000000D7E00.txt and is in a /plugin folder at the root of the sd card. I've also copied it and pasted it in a 00040000000D7E00 folder at the same location, just in case.

Does holding Select a bit work? But I see the issue, it's NOT a plugin, plugins are .plg, .txt is the file to MAKE the plugin from... And they have to be in plugin/GAME ID/plugin.plg

Well i've found another .plg plugin which i named plugin.plg (i placed it where you told me, in /plugin/00040000000D7E00/plugin.plg and when i launch ntr selector then it tells me to return to home menu, so i do it and when i press x and y ntr menu opens (a white menu)
Problem is, when i launch the game, either x + y or select won't do anything...

Maybe i should rename the file "cheat.plg" ?

Nevermind, all is my fault. The ntr plugin i downloaded was for the japanese version of the game ! (I feel even dumbER now...)

Good to know you worked it out. By the way, the text file with the cheats, depending on how it's formatted, may be supported by Luma's cheat engine (instead of NTR) which is a more recent way to use cheats in games. Look into it here: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Cheat-Engine Could save you the trouble of finding a .plg with the same region if you have a correctly formatted .txt one...
