Hacking Ambassador Games on SysNAND

I ended up formatting my EmuNAND. NES titles work fine on EmuNAND, just not GBA.
Weird, maybe you do need to patch the AGB_Firm.

But before that you should follow cearp's excellent advice, get FunkyCIA2 and it should download you a legit CIA o your GBA games, install those into the Emunand and see if those works o:

you mean sysnand :) (otherwise you misunderstood my advice!) :) thanks

In other post they said if you format your emunand while linked both nand are formated, is that true ? I have the same issue,l have some gba games on my sysnand and I really do not want to format it, so how can I unlink the nand without lose my current sysnand ?

If you use Format System Memory in Settings on EmuNAND, it will format your EmuNAND as well as your SD card. Use either TinyFormat to avoid formatting your SD card when formatting EmuNAND, or... back up your SD card prior to formatting EmuNAND, delete the newly created ID Hash folder when it boots back into SysNAND, and restore your SD card backup.

Ok then is not the sysnand who gets formated just the SD card content!, Nice! I will do a backup first, Thanks.

Yep, just the SD card.

And if you format sysnand while taking the sd card out means that mii data, friend code/list, and ambassador games are all linked in emunand right? Also read that formatting sysnand or emunand will cause your nnid to unlink? Im on a New 3DS, so still not sure whether to format my sysnand or emunand.

Yes, but you won't be able to re-download your Ambassador games from the eShop without updating. If you want to format SysNAND, why not do what Cearp suggested and use FunkyCIA to make legit CIAs from your GBA titles to install on SysNAND. After you've formatted your SysNAND, link an existing NNID in Settings, and you should be able to access the eShop on EmuNAND.

I think I will do that, thanks for the info everyone.

I have followed all of the advice in this thread but I cannot get GBA games to work. I did install the AGB_FIRM patch. Does it have to do with rxtools?

But I play my (legit) ambassador games on my EmuNAND along with some legit DSiWare and injected GBA games.

For the location of the Ambassador games, go to http://www.3dsdb.com/ and search for the titleid of the games you want to backup. For example Metroid Fusion title id is 0004000000075600. Hence, the location of the game will be in SD:\Nintendo 3DS\<id0>\<id1>\title\00040000\00075600

Are you on a N3DS or O3DS?

If N3DS, how did to get them working? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to clutter the thread up.
