Not that long ago I was struggling for space on my computer and all I had was my 64gb micro sd in my 3ds so I took it out and formatted it. Now that I want to play my 3ds again I can't. I copied the same exact files I previously had and now I can't even boot to my 3ds homescreen. It just says "Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es)." I saw a post that said just download the newest boot.firm from Luma3ds and I did but I still can't even get to my homescreen. I can log into GodMode9 but my sd card doesn't show up and when I try to Remount my SD card it fails... Am I screwed or is there any possible fix?

turn off your 3ds, remove the SD card,
copy all the files off your SD card on your computer

hold Start and power on, and boot into GodMode9

insert your SD card ignore anything about being able to initialize it,
press Home
goto More...
choose SD format menu
choose No EmuNAND
choose Auto
name your card, default is fine
then do the key combo,
once it's finished, put it back in your PC and copy all the files back

this will reformat the SD card and hopefully should fix it
GodMode9 will format it into a format that is needed, and does not require downloading 3rd party software and playing around with things
