Misc AltWFC is down?

hey everyone, been playing HGSS again.

I see altWFC is the official server.... there looks to be activity on the GTS.... but the sever primery DNS is reported down?

so then... ho did people connect? when is it coming back up?

You could try to use Wiimmfi instead, I think the game works on it.

yeah but altwfc is the popular choice for pokemon....

aren't they two completely different servers? like if I DNS connect to wiimmfi I'll lost access to altwfcs GTS?

Some guy going under the name RoGamer claimed to crash the server, I'm not sure if I can comfirm this, since this is what most people say and the owner of altwfc is out of touch with the altwfc server, but as soon as he gets on it he'll fix that.

I seem to have pokemon classic network and DS pokemon games working on wiimifi. same GTS set up.

hardly any issues on wiimifi. I love it its like the full experience minus the mass pokemon community. but at least with PCN I can see what pokes are available on GTS.

now I wonder if anyone is still battling in gen 4 and 5 on wifi....

Hi Tac 21, need help here. How do you configure the wiimmfi? I tried 46.4.79.141 but it gave me error 52100. My roms are patched with wfcpatcher 1.6.

I am in the same situation as the guy above. How do I connect to wiimmfi? Also, are you seeing the same pokemon that are on PCN when you connect to GTS through wiimmfi?

I ended up using AR codes instead of rom patchers. works just fine with that.

also it has to be wiififs DNS code... I forget the number...
